Monthly Plans are our subscription track - no big upfront cost, lower monthly payments, and we handle hosting, edits, and updates ongoing. We retain ownership of the site while you're on the plan. A Custom Build is a one-time project where you pay upfront, own the code outright, and optionally keep us on a care plan after launch.

Yes. Monthly Plans have a 12-month minimum. This covers the cost of designing and building your site up front while keeping your monthly price low. At the end of the 12 months you have three options: continue month-to-month, cancel and walk away (the site stays with us), or pay the build buyout to own your site and code outright. Your buyout amount is set in your contract on day one based on the specifics of your build, no surprises.

By default, the 12-month minimum runs its full term. Early buyout is available, but it has to be agreed up front and written into your contract, we don't spring it on you and you can't spring it on us. If you think you might want that flexibility, raise it during the kickoff call and we'll scope a price and include it in the agreement. Without that arrangement in writing, the standard path is to finish the 12-month term and then pay your build's buyout amount to own the site.

It depends on the build. Buyout pricing is set per-project based on the scope of your site (pages, integrations, complexity) and is locked into your contract from day one. There's no surprise number at month 13. If you want to know your buyout before signing, we'll give you the exact figure during the kickoff call and write it into the agreement.
