We collect information you voluntarily submit through our website, client dashboard, and mobile app. This includes:

• Contact form and chat submissions - your name, email address, phone number, project details, and message content you provide when you get in touch.
• Website Analyzer submissions - a URL you submit for analysis.
• Client portal account data - your name, email address, authentication identifiers, account permissions, and the business dashboard content you view or update.
• Mobile notification data - an app-specific device token, locale, timezone, and notification preference when you choose to enable important updates. We do not use this data for advertising.
• Usage data - pages visited, time spent on page, referring URLs, and browser/device type (collected via standard server logs and analytics tools).

We do not collect payment information. Any payment processing is handled by third-party processors who are governed by their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve our services:

• To respond to your inquiries and project requests.
• To prepare project proposals and statements of work.
• To send follow-up communication you have requested or consented to.
• To authenticate client portal users, display client-specific dashboard data, save authorized changes, and deliver optional blog or milestone notifications.
• To analyze site usage and improve the functionality and content of aiguys.net.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate this site:

• Clerk (clerk.com) - used for secure authentication in our administrative tools, client dashboard, and mobile app. Clerk processes authentication data on our behalf.
• Railway (railway.app) - our backend API runs on Railway infrastructure. Form submissions are processed through this API.
• Apple Push Notification service - used only when a mobile app user enables notifications. Apple receives an app-specific device token and notification payload needed to deliver the alert.
• Google Fonts - we load fonts from Google's CDN. Google may log your IP address when serving these assets.
• SearchAtlas - we use a third-party optimization script for site performance insights.

We require service providers that handle personal information for us to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law. Each provider also publishes its own privacy terms.

4. Cookies & Tracking

Our site uses minimal cookies and tracking:

• Essential cookies - required for basic site functionality (e.g., authentication state on protected pages).
• Analytics - we may collect anonymous usage statistics to understand how visitors use our site. No personally identifiable information is attached to these analytics.
• Mobile app - the AI Guys app does not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, or the AppTrackingTransparency framework.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain contact and inquiry data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, typically the duration of a business relationship plus a reasonable period thereafter. Mobile device tokens are removed when you sign out from that device, delete your portal account, or the registration becomes stale. Client business records may be shared by several authorized users and are retained under the applicable service agreement and legal requirements. You can delete your personal portal login from Settings in the mobile app or request deletion by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
• The right to request correction of inaccurate data.
• The right to request deletion of your data.
• The right to object to or restrict certain processing.
• The right to data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, use Delete Account in the mobile app or contact us at the information below. You can withdraw notification consent at any time in iOS Settings. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
